PERSONALISED PACKAGING: YOUR LOGO, YOUR DESIGN
Most packaging says nothing. It protects, it gets stacked, it ends up in the waste paper bin. Yet your customer is holding it at the very moment they are most interested in your product. Personalised packaging makes the most of this moment. It does not have to be a complete redesign straight away: often a cleanly embossed logo on a good box is all it takes to turn neutral packaging into your packaging.
At LESER, you can do both. You can have stock packaging finished with your logo or have packaging developed entirely around your product. The right starting point for you depends mainly on your quantity, and we are happy to discuss this openly with you. Request personalised packaging now.
Personalisation looks different for every brand
Customer reference: Santa Teresa Rum
To mark the 200th anniversary of the first sugar cane planting at Hacienda Santa Teresa, the Bicentenario Ron Ultra Añejo needed packaging that carries this story. The result is a multi-part slip lid box with side-opening wings. Deep black with embossing on the outside, lined in bright red on the inside. The contrast only becomes visible when the box is opened and turns unboxing into a moment.
Customer reference: SKINCEUTICALS
The professional skincare brand wanted its premium standard to show in its gift packaging too. The solution is deliberately understated: a magnetic folding box in elegant silver with precise logo printing, paired with a black bow for contrast. It is exactly this restraint that picks up the brand's aesthetic and creates a high-quality first impression when the box is opened.Which finishing technique suits your project?

What is possible from which quantity?
There is no single number: it depends on the type of packaging and where it is produced. So here is an open overview of what you can expect:
- Fully bespoke, produced in Germany: cardboard and plastic boxes from 1,000 items, ready in a few weeks.
- Fully bespoke, produced in Europe and the Far East: almost anything is possible, from several thousand items, lead time 3 to 5 months.
- With your logo: stock packaging from just 10 items, plus a one-off cost for the printing plate or embossing die.
- With your own insert: only the steel rule cutting tool, in the region of a few hundred euros.
Which route suits whom?
Which route is right depends less on budget than on the stage you are at.
Startups and young brands are best off starting partly customised. Stock packaging with your logo is affordable, quickly available and already looks like your brand. As volumes grow, you can move to fully customised packaging later on. For established companies with larger requirements, on the other hand, the direct route to a bespoke solution usually pays off. At the right volumes, your own construction quickly pays for itself, and you get packaging that fits your product and brand exactly.
You will find the solutions we offer for your industry and company size in the link box at the end of the page.
More than the logo: personalisation in detail
The outside is the obvious place for your brand, but rarely the most effective one. A printed interior, for example, is only seen when the box is opened, and that is exactly why it sticks in the mind. A short sentence on the inside of the lid costs little and noticeably changes the unboxing moment.
These four levers are the ones most often overlooked:
- Interior print: a motif or a short sentence on the inside of the lid, visible right at the moment of opening
- Custom-fit insert: cut to your product, so that everything lies exactly as you planned when the box is opened
- Ribbons in your corporate colour: made of satin, cotton, linen or jute, for holding in place and lifting out
- Scent and light: a fragrance in the material that is released on opening, or integrated LEDs and luminous films
These box styles can be personalised
In principle, almost any box style can be given your logo or your design. These six are the ones customers ask for most often:
- Slip lid box: lid and base separate, particularly sturdy and high-end in appearance
- Drawer box: the inner box slides out, optionally on a ribbon in your corporate colour
- Magnetic box: supplied flat, closed magnetically and printable all over
- Book cover cardboard box: opens like a book, ideal for flat products and sets
- Collar box: inner collar for an exact fit and a calm look
- Plastic packaging: sturdy, wipe-clean and can also be personalised with a logo
How your order works
So that you know what to expect: the route from enquiry to finished packaging consists of five steps.
1. Send an enquiry: via the contact form, by phone or by email. The more we know about product and quantity, the more specific our answer.
2. Advice and quotation: we clarify box style, material and technique and prepare your individual quotation.
3. Send print data: you send us your logo or artwork. If needed, we support you with packaging design.
4. Approval: you see the result before production and approve it.
5. Production and delivery: for logo embossing, the lead time is around 13 working days until dispatch.
Made in Germany, and you notice it in the process
Some of our packaging is made in our own factory in the Black Forest. At first that sounds like a marketing line, but it has a very practical effect: if something is not right with a proof, the path to production is short. Queries are resolved on the same day rather than across several time zones, and special requests are less likely to fail because of logistics.
Then there is experience. LESER has been making packaging since 1937, mainly for products where the packaging helps to sell. That sharpens the eye for details you would otherwise only notice after the first print run.
5 reasons why LESER is the right choice for your personalised packaging
1. Small quantities possible: from 10 items with logo, instead of minimum quantities in the thousands.
2. All techniques from a single source: printing, embossing, varnish, inserts and, on request, assembly.
3. Own production: manufacturing in the Black Forest, which means short lines of communication.
4. Experience: Experience as a packaging manufacturer since 1937, built up with demanding products.
5. FSC®: FSC®-certified cardboard on request. (FSC® licence number: FSC® C144083, further information at www.fsc.org)
