REPAIR BAGS FOR JEWELLERS AND WORKSHOPS
A ring needs resizing, a watch needs a new battery, a bracelet is too long. Every repair begins with a handover across the counter, and this is exactly where it is decided whether everything will run smoothly later on. A good repair bag keeps the piece of jewellery safe, documents the job and ensures that everything finds its way back to the right customer.
We manufacture our paper repair bags in three formats, with a tear-off tab and sequential numbering, printed with your logo and your design. You receive them directly from the manufacturer, from as few as 1,000 pieces.

Two parts, one job: how a repair bag is structured
Every repair bag consists of two parts joined by a perforation. This allows them to be separated neatly when the item is handed in.
At the top is the tear-off tab, also known as a collection slip or coupon. It is filled in, torn off and handed to your customer. When collecting the item, the customer uses it to prove that they are the rightful owner.
Below is the actual bag. It holds the piece of jewellery before and after the repair and also serves as a job sheet for your workshop. It records what needs to be repaired, when the job was accepted and who owns the item.
The key element is the sequential number: it appears identically on the collection slip and on the bag. This means every item can be clearly identified, even when dozens of jobs are waiting in the workshop at the same time.
What should go on a repair bag?
The fields you need depend on your processes. The following details have proved their worth:
• On the collection slip: your logo and contact details, the sequential number, the date of acceptance and the expected collection date.
• On the bag: logo and contact details, the customer's name and address, a description of the piece of jewellery or watch, the repair required, and the dates of acceptance and collection.
• The number on both parts: identical and sequential, so that nothing gets mixed up.
With us, the design of both parts is fully customised. You decide which fields to include and how much space they are given. And if you do not need a collection slip, we can also produce your repair bags without a tear-off tab on request.
Three formats for every job
Not every item needs the same amount of space. That is why our repair bags come in three sizes:
• 9100 22, 100 x 158 mm: for small pieces of jewellery such as rings, earrings and ear studs.
• 9100 23, 100 x 190 mm: for bracelets and fine chains, also often used when buying gold and silver.
• 9100 26, 100 x 230 mm: the large format, suitable not only for jewellery but also for glasses, smartphones and small technical devices.
Many jewellers use two formats side by side: the small one for rings and earrings and a larger one for necklaces, bracelets and watches.
What repair bags are used for every day
In a jewellery shop, repair bags are a constant companion. Typical uses include:
The job is noted in bullet points directly on the bag. That way, everyone in the workshop knows straight away what needs to be done, without any extra notes.
Watch servicing
Your design instead of a standard form
Most repair bags are printed in a single colour. That works, but it looks the same everywhere. With our 4-colour printing, you can design your repair bags to suit your business. Here are a few examples of how this can look:
• Jewellery layout with softened background: understated, clearly arranged and easy to read.
• Watch layout: tailored to watchmakers' workflows, ideal for servicing and inspection.
• Floral design: for shops that value an elegant appearance in their service too.
• Multicoloured logo: your brand in its true colours, with high recognition value.

How your order works
It takes five steps to go from enquiry to finished repair bag:
1. Send an enquiry: via the contact form, by phone or by email. Tell us which formats and what quantity you need.
2. Advice and quotation: We clarify the format, the version with or without tear-off tab, the fields and the number range, and prepare your quotation.
3. Design: You send us your logo or your artwork. If you wish, we develop the layout together with you.
4. Approval: You receive a proof and approve it. Only then does it go to print.
5. Production and delivery: We print, number and deliver. We will give you the specific date in our quotation.
